Weird, Unusual and Strange StuffDo you find the mundane world a little... well... boring?Do you yearn for more satisfying, more interesting, more fulfilling ways to live? Do you search out the unusual, the overlooked... the wyrd? If so then you've found the right place. Hi, I'm Trevor Mendham and for my whole life I've been interested in the sort of strange, weird stuff on this site. From Tibetan singing bowls and birthstones through wedding customs to the power of the human mind. Whether you call it paranormal, New Age or occult - it's all wyrd to me. Wyrdology is my place to share these interests with you. There's more strange stuff in the world than one site can possibly cover, but I'll do my best. You're probably asking some obvious questions: do I believe all this? Is it true? Does I really buy into this stuff? I don't know. I do know that "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy". I approach all these things with respect, an open mind and huge amounts of intellectual curiosity - whilst also trying not to lose my sense of humour. The key for me is not how this weird stuff works but simply whether it works. If the tools and methods on this site are useful then it really doesn't matter to me whether they are a result of psychic powers, aliens or eyes-shut self delusion. This is not an encyclopaedia, there are no scholarly references and I claim no authority. I've simply read a lot of strange stuff - I hope you find it as interesting as I do. Welcome to my virtual museum of the best of the strange, unusual and weird. This site is my eclectic online cabinet of curiosities - enjoy!
