Charms and bracelets such as Pandora or Trollbeads are great, but they do cost momney to buy. What do you do if you're a young person with limited pocket money to spend? One answer might be the 2010 craze of bandz.
What Are Bandz?
Bandz are silicone rubber bands that can be worn on the wrist. They're available to buy in a huge assortment o shapes and colours - you can even get ones that sparkle and glow in the dark. The most well known brand of bands is SillyBandz, however there are many other manufacturers such as Bama Bandz, Rubba Bandz and Zany Bandz.SillyBandz shot to fame in 2010 when they became a massive craze with young people in the US who liked to collect and display them. At teh time of writing they have yet to launch in the UK but may are expected to do so soon.
Although most bands use abstract or modern shapes - even pop stars like Justin Bieber! - some you can also get sets with religious symbolism, such as Faith Bands and JewlyBandz. Unfortunately nobody yet seems to have brought out a set of pagan bandz!
