Some sceptics like to call those willing to consider the paranormal "uneducated" or even "stupid". A new poll published in - of all places - the Skeptical Inquirer suggests that the opposite might be true.
439 college students were asked to rate their "belief level" in a number of subjects such as ghosts, aliens and astrology. The results showed that 34% of graduate students and 31% of seniors were generally accepting of the paranormal whilst the figure amongst freshmen was only 23%.
If the education system is teaching people to be open-minded then I reckon it's doing its job.
