Ghost Hunting Course At English CastleMonday, January 23, 2006
A new training course for would-be ghost hunters is soon to be launched in England. The course will take place in historic Muncaster Castle in the beautiful English Lake District. Muncaster Castle was built in the 13th century and has a long reputation for being the home of ghosts and hauntings. Of particular interest to ghost hunters is the "Tapestry Room". The two-day parapsychology course is entitled "Investigating Haunted Houses" and will initially take place 29-30 March 2006. The course will be led Dr Jason Braithwaite. Braithwaite is from the Behavioural Brain Sciences Centre at Birmingham University. He has been investigating the Muncaster ghosts for 15 years. However he remains sceptical. One aim of the new course will be to give students the background to investigate strange phenomena in a scientific fashion.
