Malaysia: Bigfoot Prints?

Friday, January 27, 2006

New Straits Times reports on the finding of large, unexplained footprints near Gunung Panti. It has been suggested that they might have been left by some sort of Malaysian bigfoot.

The footprints were first found on a recently tarred road and are about 50 cm long. They are being investigated by a team led by Vincent Chow who said that they could have been made by a creature four times as heavy as a man. Chow's team traced the prints up a hill into the jungle where they became smudged by recent rain.

Villagers in the area have reported hearing disturbances in the night recently.

The New Straits Times article (link below) includes a photo of one of the footprints.
