Shark "ESP" TracedTuesday, February 07, 2006
Sharks have long been known for their strange ability to detect electrical signals. This has sometimes been called "shark ESP". Now researchers from the University of Florida have traced the source of this strange power. "Sharks have a network of electrosensory cells that allows them to hunt by detecting electrical signals generated by prey. That doesn’t mean they can only detect electric fish. They can sense electricity generated by a muscle twitch, even if it’s the weak signal of a flounder buried under sand." Some scientists believe that our early ancestors had a similar ability but lost it during evolution because it doesn't work so well on land. Personally I can't help wondering if some people might have a weak remnant of this electromagnetic sense - could this be connected with the reports of human psi power?
