How's this for "out of place" animals: wallabies in Scotland!
There have been sightings of the "Loch Lomond wallabies" around the Loch for years but they've never been caught on film. Now Scotland Today reports that these "mini kangaroos" have finally been filmed.
The wallabies are believed to have been introduced to Scotland some 30 years ago and the main colony is on the private island of Inchconnan.
You can see a video of the Loch Lomond wallabies (wmv format) on the Scotland Today website.
