A Lights In The Sky (LITS) UFO has been seen over Buckhurst Hill in the South of England. The local Guardian reports that the LITS were seen on October 5th 2007 at 8:20 pm.

Jenny Cooper-Rendu and her 13 year old son spotted "rows of large yellow lights suspended in the air, completely silent". After a few minutes the lights dispersed in different directions. The scene was witnessed by a number of motorists.

Mrs Cooper-Rendu says that the lights couldn't have been fireworks because they remained suspended for too long, and they no noise hence couldn't be helicopters.

One possibility is that the lights were Thai lanterns which are often released at weddings and which have been suggested as the the cause of previous UFO reports.
