The recent UFO flap over central Texas was apparently nothing more than ten Air Force Reserve F-16 fighter jets, according to Air Force officials.
A number of witnesses had reported seeing fast moving lights in the sky (LITS), however the air force initially denied having any aircraft in the sky at the time. The air force now say that this was a mistake arising from poor internal communication and that there were indeed ten of their fighter jets from 457th Fighter Squadron flying over the area on a training mission.
At least it wasn't a fleet of weather balloons...
