Tahitian Noni Juice

Noni - Morinda citrifolia - is grown in many countries including China, Japan and Australia. However by far the most well known source on the American shelves today is Tahiti.

Whether Tahitian noni juice is significantly better than that from other parts of the world is unknown, indeed the effectiveness of Noni in general is a matter of some debate. However there's no denying the appeal of Tahiti from a marketing perspective. Images of sun, sand and attractive people all combine to suggest "health", "energy" and "fun".

TNI

History

Probably the best known company selling noni juice from Tahiti is Tahiti Noni International (TNI). The company was founded in 1996 following investigations by food scientist John Wadsworth to follow up research conducted in the 1950s by Dr. Ralph Heinicke. The company was extremely successful in its first year of trading and began to expand internationally. Today you can buy TNI products in over 70 countries and the company has an annual turnover of over $500 million. The company also runs an international chain of noni cafes

As well as the original Tahition Noni Juice, TNI today has many dozens of noni based products available to buy including the newly launched Hiro / TaHiro range. You can even buy an Equine Essentials range for horses!
